First Day of School

Well school has started here in Layton. It's kind of bittersweet for me. I taught in the classroom for 20 years before becoming an instructor on the district level in technology. At the moment, we are not running any classes in our lab for at least the next four months because we are "redesigning" what we do. I will be running an online class in Microsoft Publisher, but it's just not the same as teaching in front of a classroom. I'm really bummed about this. I looked into going back to teaching in the classroom, but I would have to take a BIG pay cut, and I just can't afford it right now. It's funny how I really wanted this job because it was me dream job. But with the way things are changing, I hope it doesn't turn into a nightmare!
